Getting worried about using DME

Okay, we have called DME 4 times about our upcoming trip. The first time we thought just my sister and myself were going. We gave the CM our info and waited for our documents to arrive via mail. The next day, our brother decided to join us so we called DME to add him. It took a hour and 45 minutes to add him. My sister had to talk to 2 CMs and then finally a manager who completed the reservation. They didn't have my sister's or my information. They had no reservation listed for us.

Then our Mom was feeling left out and decided to come along. We called DME again. (Now I realize we keep changing the reservation by adding people and I apologized for that.) But when we called to add our mom, they didn't have any of the previous reservations again. This time the CM was great and quickly took all our information and assured us our documents would be arriving soon.

My sister's and my documents arrived, no documents for brother and mom. In the DME booklet, our flight information was stated as not available. I called today to check why and where the other 2 documents were. Guess what?? They didn't have any of us listed. So I patiently gave ALL the flight info again. She assured me our tags would arrive in time for our flights...we leave in 10 days now.

What is going on??? Has anyone else had this experience where DME can't keep your information??? I am not worried about our arrival in Orlando because we can explain to the CM at the airport what happened, but I am worried about them remembering to pick us up when we depart. We all have 6am flights out of Orlando.

When you get to the checkin desk for DME at MCO, they will ask you some questions about the timing of your return trip to MCO. You can double check, at that time, to make sure that everyone in your party is accounted for in the DME system. Also, try to bring with you any paperwork that has everyone listed on it...that way there should be no questions at all. Mandatory? No, but it may help to ease your mind.

I will definitely check when we get there to make sure they have us all listed correctly! Thanks!

Suggestion: To simplify things, don't worry about the going home part of DME until after you get there. You have until the day before checkout to arrange that although usually it will be arranged at the welcoming area when you first arrive.

We're only there Saturday through early Tuesday morning. I've been told we should expect our pick up time will be around 3:00AM. So, I'd rather not wait until Monday to work it out...I don't want to have to think about it and waste time on it once I am in the World. That is one of the reasons we chose DME. Hopefully it will all be fine!
