Hello All,

Well, its been a long haul for all of us Canucks and looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel. Its not perfect, but at least there is hope! DW and I are booked for our first vaccine on April 19th so the 2nd job should be in August. We are currently book for Oct 12 to 17 at Bay Lake. We will have no issue travelling with the vaccine on board, so my only thing is that I am kind of lost with the new rules, etc. Hoping for my friend here to help be confirm my thoughts!

- Park reservations are required. I made them, but understand you can Park Hop, but only after 2 PM each day and to only one other park. Correct?
- There are currently no Fast Passes being offered. This may change but for right now, it is Virtual Queue? and how does that work?
- For ROTR, you can only get "in line-Virtual Queue" when you get to the park before 7am or after 1pm?
- Dining can only be booked 60 days our now?

I think that's it, unless any of you think there if something else we should know. Excited to get back as we have not been there since Nov 2019. Much like most of you I am sure!

Thanks for any help provided!

I think you can try to join the ROTR virtual queue without being in the park now.

“Instead of having to wake up early and be inside Hollywood Studios to make your reservation, at 7:00 am each morning guests will now be able to get a Rise of the Resistance boarding group from their resort, or any other place nearby.

This will make for a much less frustrating experience and guests will know before going to Hollywood Studios whether they have a boarding pass or not.”

But if you are not staying onsite, I am not sure how close you need to be in order to be able to join the queue.

Happy planning!

Thanks! Yes, we are staying at Bay Lake....we are DVC members :)

As far as I know the only ride that currently uses a virtual queue is ROTR. All other rides that are open are standby lines that are socially distanced. There is lots of debate if fast pass will return in its previous form or be replaced by something else.

There are rumors that virtual queues could eventually start to be uses for other rides.

I would really watch these boards from now until your trip as their is likely to be a ton of changes between then and now.

I’m trying to book Universal for Oct just incase the border opens. Not very confident so holding off on booking air.

We were brave and book on South West out of Buffalo....can't beat the price! Especially since they had a special that changes and cancellations are no charge! I am fairly confident that by Oct, the US and Canada will be in a whole different situation and borders will be open. Specifically if you are vaccinated.

Same. We booked Aulani for mid November, but I haven't booked air (eventhough I've got WJ credits up the waaaazoooo). Holding off for a bit longer.

I hope so!
