Getting uber/lyft from DLH

Is this a fairly smooth process please? I am staying a bit further out and won't be driving so was counting on ordering an uber from the DLH lobby to get me back to my hotel.
Or would you recommend another hotel?

Are you going to be up in that area? Any reason to not just pick up right out side of Disneyland off of Harbor? If you are at DLH already or something at that end of Downtown Disney that would make sense.

If you aren't one that end there is a good pick up spot just outside of Disneyland, well good as long as people don't park and stay... and stay.

I'll be on my own so would prefer the safety and comfort to wait in the hotel lobby I think! I've also heard that that area gets very busy for pick ups once the parks close.

We usually go out to the Grand when waiting for our Uber. Lots of CM's and guests around and benches to sit on! They furthest lane from the lobby is for Uber/Lyft. We don't usually stay until closing, but have never had an issue leaving from the Grand.
