boat ride in Norway? I seem to always be getting out of the boat as the doors to the movie are closing and have to wait for next show. Always seems to be forever of a wait. Thinking about it I think I ride that ride everytime but dont recall ever seeing the movie?

I can tell you all for sale through the nice sweaters/ trolls/ perfume/ kidcot/ candy stores on way out though

Okay, just check my tag to see what happens to me every time we exit. Seriously though, we enjoy the short movie about Norway. We just sit back, enjoy the cool air, and watch all the other folks rush out for another WDW moment.

Just rode it again on Tuesday, and went straight into movie, as always.

And as always I wondered "why in the world is there this much wasted room on the dock area in the little town?". :confused3

Maybe they host parties there or maybe it was a structural issue............oh.............it is a holding place for when the movie has started. Never occured to me because I have never had to wait for the movie.........duh, now I get it.

ps We enjoyed the movie, it is short but shows the country highlights and probably the closest I'll ever get so worth a few minutes of my time.

I love the Norway movie! It gets me teary every time. (might be a personal thing though, lol, some of my "favorite people" are from Norway) ;)

I agree, the movie in Norway is fantastic. It's only 5 minutes long, but it makes me want to visit Norway every time we watch the show. Definitely worth the look.

The Norway film is wonderful.

Its a shame people don't appreciate its simple beauty and warmth.

We have never gotten off the boat when the doors are open either. After all the great comments I think we will wait next time.

I love the Norway movie. And they have chairs! I think far too many people rush out without giving it a chance.

I like the movie too, but I hate being trapped before-hand. The little village should at least have a potty for its tourists! :teeth:

I always get trapped too!! The doors are always closing as we are coming up to where you get off the ride. The movie is not that great, but maybe watch it once.

If you look to the left of the doorway leading to the movie, you will see a door that leads out of the area altogether. (It's set back a ways and might not be noticeable if you are not looking for it.) I use it whenever the movie door is closed and there isn't much of a crowd waiting because I know it will be a while before the movie door opens again. Saves you a bit of time there.

By the way. If you haven't seen the five minute movie, it's worth a look-see at least once.

Enjoy.

You can seriously just walk out of this side door? No CM will say anything to you? I would think that people would say something?

Don't try it.

I spent 3 nights in jail and $30,000 in lawyer fees because I tried to walk through that door last April 1st.

;)

I would like to know which door to use to get out, since we always pull up as the doors close.

This is usually not a problem, but once we has a potty issue with DD, and the CM would not let us out!

I can't believe that you can just walk out.

And the movie is interesting the first time, everyone should dee it once. :)
