Getting to Winter Summerland from MK

Hi,

On Sunday Dec 1 we will be at MK until 6pm. We then have a PS at Cinderella's Royal Table at 6pm. The MVMCP is at 7pm that night. After we leave the park after our dinner, we are planning to go to Winter Summerland and then back to our hotel at the All Star Movies.

What is our best bet. Can we take the bus in, and get to Winter Summerland without too much trouble.

Or maybe we should take our car that day?

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I would probably take a car. WS is at BB, so getting there after BB is closed can be tough. I know that late bus from Epcot to AS stop there. That also means you have to go via Epcot on your way back.

Well, if you have a car...

Take the bus back to the All-Stars, go back to your room, drop off your stuff, freshen up, and then take the car to WSL...

Not to scare you but... We were at Blizzard Beach on the last day of our trip, playng Winter Summerland Mini Golf & after we were one we left ourselves a good 1 1/2 hours to get back to our room & check out- we were staying at AS Sports (never again because of this experience & a few others ) & the bus back to the hotel did not come for an HOUR!!!! We told a security guard twice, & he finally had to drive us back to the hotel along with 2 other couples because te bus NEVER CAME!! We missed check out & had to be given special late checkout privileges so that we wuld not be charged the late check out fee! We were very angry!! Not that it would happen every time but I wouldn't want to miss MVMCP for a late bus-- better safe than sorry right?? Have fun!

Once Blizzard Beach clears of all day guests, transportation from Blizzard Beach is ceased. The only exception is an occassional Epcot bus. That bus then goes to Epcot where you catch the connecting resort bus.

I think what makes the most sense is to take the bus back to the hotel and drive to Winter Summerland. I can't believe I did not think of doing that. It sounds so simple now!

Since it is a MVMCP night, there should still be transportation after we finish with dinner at CRT.

So if you go in the morning hours there shouldn't be a bus problem? Just catch the bus to Blizzard Beach?
