How easy (or not) is it to get from a disney resort to Sea World? We will be staying at POR and would really like to take the kids to Sea World but are unsure about transportation. We will fly into Orlando and us the Magic Express so no rental car. Any ideas or suggestions?:confused3

You can take a Lynx bus from the TTC (travel and transportation center) that goes to the Sea World parking lot. The bus is #50. Check the web site at www.golynx.com .

Thank you for this! We could never justify the cost/hassle of renting car to make a day trip to sea world. The only suggestions that I have ever heard about are taxi and mears. This is really great. :cool1:

Looked at the website for the Lynx system. Has anyone ever rode on the bus before? And if so what are you thought? It looks like this is the public transportation bus for the Orlando area. I know I may be over reacting a little but is it safe? It will be me, my mom, and my 2 kids. No males!

Super easy - did it two trips ago. There was a young guy who worked at DW who was just off shift, who goal is to be a Disney Artist. He was sketching during the bus journey and the kids were watching him. He then presented them with his great cartoon drawing - we framed it when we got home.

We are senior citizens and found it to be really safe. We also took the I-Trolley that travels up and down International drive from the Sea World bus stop and went to both Disney outlets. One is at the north end of International Dr and one at the south end. Check out the I-Trolley web site. www.iridetrolley.com

Sounds like a great Disney memory for your family! It's those moments that make Disney so special.
