:confused3 Not sure if this is the right place. We are not going to have a car and was wondering - do the buses run to the track? Do you have to go to the ticket & transporation center and transfer? My DH & DS will be going alone and I need to map it out for them. Thanks - I love these forums! :hourglass

Going - ASMO - August 5th- 16th :woohoo:

What you need to do is take a bus to the Magic Kingdom (they start running at 6:30 am). Then take the monorail to the TTC. When they get off at the TTC, then follow the signs to the Kennel/Lost and Found. At the kennel/lost and found, there is a van that runs back and forth to the Petty Experience.

We were just at WDW in January 2007. We asked at the hotel desk (we were at the Contemporary) and they said that they could arrange transporatation for us because there is some type of shuttle that does run between the Driving Experience and the hotels on site if you make prior arrangement. However, DH needed to be at the track earlier than the shuttle started it's runs, so we just drove because we did have our car. I would call the Petty Driving Experience phone number and get the time schedule. DH was in the first driving group of the day and it was the off season, so you probably won't have any problem. By the way, DH thought the Petty Experience was great and he wants to go back and take our son so they can both drive. Have a wonderful time!
