Not sure where to post it but I'm looking for some advice. I'm going solo in October and won't have a car - I know I can get a lynx bus to the outlets but how safe would it be at night? I would get a cab from DTD but really can't justify $25 each way when it's $2 on the bus!!

Is $25 from DTD to the outlets on Vineland ave or the International drive location?I never take cabs but $25 seems excessive from DTD to the Vineland ave outlets as I don't think it's that far,the International drive outlets are just past Universal so $25 or more would seem fine as it is quite a bit further,to Vineland I don't think it's more than a 5-10 minute drive.Although I don't take the Lynx buses either I don't see why it would be dangerous, the bus will not go through any bad neighborhoods as you will only be going to and from tourist areas, like anywhere you should always have your guard up but I would take the bus if I had to and would save me some money.

I live in Orlando and don't have a car so I get around by Lynx public buses. So far I have been safe riding them at night. The Link 8 bus goes to both the Vineland and International Drive outlet malls. Have fun!
