How do you get to ALL the parks from the Beach or Yacht club? Can you take a boat to MK? Is it a direct boat and how long does it take? Can you leave a child in a stroller?

Can you walk to the Board walk from the Beach club? How long is the walk?

You cannot take a boat to the MK. Your best bet to the MK is by bus. You could walk through Epcot and monorail to TTC and then monorail to MK, but I think that would take too much time and it requires you to have park hoppers.

You can walk to the Boardwalk from the YC/BC in a few minutes, maybe five. There is also a boat you can take, but I think walker would be faster.

To get to the other parks, you can walk to both Epcot and DHS or take a boat. I’d definitely walk to Epcot as it is a short walk. The walk to DHS is about 15 or 20 minutes. You’d have to bus to AK.

Do you know if it's a boat where a child could remain in a stroller?

  • There are buses that take you to MK and AK.
  • There is no boat access to MK from Beach Club or Yacht Club.
  • You can walk or get a Friendship boat to Epcot (10 minute walk) and HS (20 minute walk).
  • You can walk (less than 10 minutes) or take a Friendship boat across the bay to the Boardwalk.
  • You would have to take a child out of it's stroller and fold it up on the bus but might not have to in the boats if they weren't too busy.

We have stayed at Beach Club once and have to say it was our favourite location. So handy for Epcot and HS and the Boardwalk and just an amazing feel to the place. Perfect!

We just stayed there. Boats are up and running to DHS and Epcot (walking to Epcot is much easier though--however walking to DHS is quite a hike in the summer heat--I don't recommend!). If there is a storm, the boats may go down, as they did on us one day at DHS and we were offered a bus over to resorts or Epcot if this is the case. We took buses over to MK and AK and DS. The buses share with the yacht, but we found most buses (save park closing time) to be uncrowded and not too much of an issue. This was NOT the case at Poly, who shares with GF and the buses were always jammed packed. Those 2 resorts each need their bus for sure!

Starting to think it can really become a favorite for us. We love MK the best, so that's why we stay at a MK area Deluxe, to be on the monorail, but we want something new and equally appealing to us. I think the Beach club can be it!

No MK boat, but on the boat to HS we had experience with both. We were going to HS and one day they made us take baby out and close stroller.....the boat was not full. Two days later, back to HS and the cast member did not make us take baby out and stroller remained open ( boat again not full.) Before our DD, we hadn't used strollers for several years ( DS is 10 now). I can remember being able to leave it open with him in it, provided there was room, but that was five years ago! With DD a couple months ago, it seemed like it depended upon what CM was running the boat. Wishing you luck!

The Friendship boats (the ones that run in World Showcase and Crescent Lake) can all handle strollers that do not need to be folded. They can also handle motorized scooters, and I would be taking my life into my hands if I were a captain who told a parent to take their sleeping child out of the stroller and fold it.
