Hi there,
Can anyone give me some advice on how to get to Orlando Legoland from Disney World? We're staying onsite at the Wilderness Resort in Disney World and would like to take a day trip to Legoland, I'm just not sure the best way to get there. Thanks :)

Either rent a car or take a taxi to the Orlando Premium Outlets Vineland avenue location which is the Premium outlet location closest to Disney where a round trip shuttle leaves to Legoland for $5 a person,I believe it leaves at 9am.It's about a 40-45 minute drive to Legoland.

We actually rented a car and drove. It was more expensive, but it gave us a lot more freedom. I may be wrong now, but at the time we went, the shuttle only ran once there and once back. So you're stuck there until time for the shuttle back. We were really excited to go and thought we would be there a full day. But we finished HOURS before the time the shuttle would have left. And then it started POURING (like, Noah's-flood-pouring). It would have been miserable if we had been stuck there for several more hours.

(Again, the shuttle process may be different now, but that's how it was when we went).

Great advice. My son is more excited about lego land than WDW

We only drove by it, haven't read the reviews but it didn't look as if it was worth our time or money. I would love to hear from folks who went and enjoyed it.

We went to Legoland in August. My dd12, ds 9, Grandma and myself. We had a great time. Almost all rides were walk ons. It is much smaller than and WDW park. Rides were mostly tame. kids rode most by themselves. Minifigure trading was lots of fun. Not as magical as WDW but what place is.
Enjoy!

When we moved to Chicago from California... it was so sad to move away from the only LEGOLAND in the US. We went so many times! But then now we could go to WDW instead of DL and that's a huge plus. Lo-and-behold... LLFL opens up! It's like they opened a park on the east coast just for us. Everything is awesome!!

We hit LLFL every Disney trip. It's an hour drive south... if you don't have a car, rent one. There are shuttles from Orlando if that's your thing.
