Wanted opinions for KTKT. We have an 8am tour booked. No car. MK opens @ 9am with the EE for 8:30am.

Was thinking the best way may be to uber/lyft to contemporary and walk to the gates? - We are coming From Kidani.

Would the bus be running that early though? We need to check in for 745am - over an hour before the park opens.

Resort to park buses start running about one hour before early entry opening time, meaning around 7:30 AM for you. Be at the bus stop by 7:00 if you want to be on the first bus.

When we did the tour, we asked at the front desk the night before, and they said there would be a bus early enough. We got on the very first bus of the day.

I've gotten quite comfortable with using rideshare (not Minnie Vans, take too long and cost more than Uber/Lyft) to get to and from parks:

Beach Club - Epcot World Showcase
Contemporary - MK

I think your plan is the right one.

In the morning, rideshare vehicles are routinely turned away from CR unless the guests are staying at CR or have an ADR there. Even a mobile order frequently will be turned away. Rideshare to MK drops off at TTC.

Minnie Vans start running at 6:30, so you could try for one. As PP said, that would take you directly to the Magic Kingdom. I don't know how long the wait tends to be early in the morning. You can open the Lyft app some morning at the time you would want to travel, set your pick up spot at Kidani and your drop off spot at MK, and see what the wait time for Minnie Vans would be.

Thanks everyone, we are there next week but our tours not until a week later so I'll ask front desk (like suggested) and also look into Minnie vans (which we actually haven't used before)

If not we will make sure we are on that first bus.
