Hi all,

I am staying two nights onsite at RPR :banana:. then I am moving to Holiday inn to use points. I am renting a car through Alamo and need to pick it up at four points sheraton. What's the best/easiest or cheapest option for this.

walk?
I ride trolley?
cab?
does Alamo offer pick up service?

thanks for all the help!

The distance is probably a little under a mile. Walking would be cheapest way. A taxi would be the easiest and quickest way. I Trolly doesn't have a stop at Universal. Walking to the nearest stop wouldn't be much (any?) shorter then walking to the hotel.

:thanks: that was exactly what I was looking for. If the weather isn't too bad I'll walk if not I'll just grab a cab. :thumbsup2

anyone know this answer????

You need to find the nearest Enterprise location to WDW.

Go to Enterprise's web site and ask for a car at "Lake Buena Vista, FL"
They will show you that there is an office at:

DISNEY-ROYAL PLAZA
1905 HOTEL PLAZA BLVD
LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL 32830-8438

Book it for your dates and call them for a pickup when you want the car. They will pick you up.

And...by all means, get a discount. http://www.carrentalsavers.com

Four Points has a shuttle to Universal, perhaps you could find out the time, go to the park and catch that.

Four Points shuttle might be worth considering if you're coming from a park. You'll have to be at the bus stop at least 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time and the bus could be a few minutes late. My guess is if you're coming from your hotel you'll get to Four Points faster if you walk directly to the hotel rather then walk to the bus stop, wait for the bus then ride the bus to Four Points.

According to the hotel's website the shuttle runs 3 times in the morning and twice in the afternoon.

The hotel is .1 mile from Wet n Wild. That's the nearest I-Trolly stop to Universal.

Walking makes the most sense. You might call the actual Alamo desk and ask about a pickup.

You're over thinking this. No reason to be waiting for a pickup car or bus. Walk. Take a taxi if the weather is bad.

Thanks again! Great advice. I'm planning on walking and if I feeling lazy..I'll cab it. Called about pick up and it available but kind of a hassle.
