Hey!

I have an ADR for CRT on 4 June (my brithday - yay!!). To the best of my knowledge this isn't an EMH morning (in fact I think it's EMH Evening that day)for MK and was wondering about access to the park. I want to take my car that day - however, I was reading that transportation from TTC is only likely to start an hour before park opens...which would be 8am leaving me 5 mins to get to the Castle!!!

Would I be quicker walking to the Poly?

Any help would be great!! :wizard:

Where are you staying?

We had CRT on a non-EMH morning as well, and the busses started running early, like between 7 and 7:30 (probably just for the early breakfasts). Also, you have to get a slip of paper from your resort's front desk with your ADR number on it for them to let you in.

Disney runs early morning buses from all their resorts for the various breakfasts around WDW. The early buses start at 6:30am daily. Be at your resort bus stop about 45 minutes prior to your reservation. This will give you plenty of time in case you just miss a bus.
The bus will take you directly to the Magic Kingdom entrance, not the TTC.

Last week, we had an 8am ressie at CRT on a 9am opening day. We took the bus from OKW (they started passing our unit about 6:30am) and had no problem. We arrived about 7:30 am took a slow stroll down an very empty main street and arrived at CRTin plenty of time for a great breakfast.

Thanks for the replies - I'll be at ASMo but I am specifically wanting to take my car that day....is getting the bus direct the only way?

I need to know this too because we have ressies before the park opens and we are staying at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club so we will be driving to the park the morning of our 8:15 reservations.

Yes, taking the bus is the only direct way.
The bus will drop you off just outside the Magic Kingdom, probably 200 - 300 feet away from the gates.
The bus will go directly from the Resort/s to the Disney bus area at MK as soon as it goes through the toll plaza - and the buses are admitted with no delay.
If you drive, you will first have to wait at the toll plaza until Disney opens the parking lot.
Then you will have to park.
Then you will have to walk or take a tram to the Ticket & Transportation Center.
Then you will have to take the monorail or the ferry to the Magic Kingdom.
Your decision, but I'd take the bus - even if it means later taking the bus back to your resort to pick up your car.

What happens if we are not staying where you can take the bus?? What time do the main gates open??

All off-site guests must park at the Transportation and Ticket Center. From there you have to boat or monorail over to the Magic Kingdom. I know the resort monorail service starts at 7am daily, but I don't know about service from the TTC.
This will bump you to the top for more responses.

Thanks! If it is the case that the resort monorail starts at that time, it would be worth walking to the Poly from the T&TC and getting on it there!

You will still be held up at the booths to enter the parking lot. They may not let any cars thru until 8AM, then you will still have to park your car and get across the lake to the MK entrance.
It has been suggested in other threads that if you are coming from off site that you go to one of the resorts and use valet service to park then use Disney Transportation to get to your ADR. You will most likely not be able to leave your car at the resort all day so you will have to go get your car after breakfast and drive it to the park parking lot and pay another parking fee.
