Getting to Chef Mickey's?

We are staying at ASMo in June and are arriving around 11am. I was thinking of making reservation for chef mickey's for dinner as a special treat for our first night there. I was wondering what's the best way to get to chef mickey's? If we took the ASMo bus to MK we could walk to the Contemporary right? So we could spend a few hours at MK then walk over to the comtemporary for dinner and then walk back to MK to get the bus back to ASMo - is that correct?

You could also take the monorail to the contemporary from MK. You will be doing enough walking at the park.

By all means, take the monorail if you want, but it is a very short walk! (not much further than walking to the monorail from the bus stop) When you are dropped off at the MK, cross the street carefully and head away from the MK. If you want to ride the monorail, the CR is the 1st stop from the MK so it is a short ride. When leaving the MK, you will stop at the Poly and GF 1st which makes it a much longer trip, which is good or bad depending on what you are looking for.

It is an easy walk. Take to monorail back when the castle is changing color at night. Ride the monorail around as many times as you want, then head back to the hotel.

I'd definitely take the monorail! You will want to sit down after having a day at MK.

Walking might be faster because the Magic Kingdom bus stop is close to where the walkway to the Contemporary is, however if you took the Monorail once you get off on the 4th floor it's a very short walk to Chef Mickey's. So you can't go wrong no matter how you would get there.
