Getting to BWV then to MK on Marathon Day

Hi Everyone

We are going to Disney on Jan 10-16.

Will be offsite Jan 10, check into BWV on Jan 11

Here is where I need help

Jan 11 is the marathon day AND my DD's 5th bday, I have found out the EMH will not be that day in MK due to the race, we will try and get to BWV by 7:30am to check in, and our PS at CRT is at 10:25 but we hope to get in a few rides before our PS

What is the best way to avoid traffic, to get to BWV from offsite then once at BWV whats the best way to get to MK?(remeber the marathon might be a problem)

any an ALL help is REALLY appreciated

Hi there!!

You should be able to access BWV with fairly little problem on marathon day. They have scattered road closures, but most of that is near MK and toward Wide World of Sports.

The tricky part will be getting to MK. If I remember correctly, on marathon day, buses drop off at the TTC until after all the marathon runners have completed the MK portion, since the race course passes the access road in front of the Contemporary. I would allow a good bit of extra time to get there (might want to leave right after checking into BWV) and then hope to get to ride a couple rides before your PS.

No matter what, I would NOT recommend driving.
