Getting To Boma From Pop

Hi all!
I just finished making all of my PS's for my May/June trip and am very excited to be trying some new things (two character meals, Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic Package for a few) including dinner at Boma. I will be at AK earlier that day but plan on coming back to PoP Century for a late afternoon swim. I may head to DTD Marketplace first for some shopping and then go to AKL for my 8:30pm PS at Boma, so I know to just bus it from there. My question is...
Coming from Pop for an 8:30pm PS, when should I leave and where should I transit to in order to get a bus to AKL? Since AK itself will be closed then I am assuming that it would be best to go to MK or DTD? This will be on a Friday.

Thanks in advance! I have looked all over for this info and had no luck.

Hi mike,

If you're at Downtown Disney it will be easy to get to AKL, but if you're at Pop Century my advice would be to take a taxi. It might cost $20 or so (round trip) but it could save you up to an hour each way...

I would just take the bus from DTD. Just give yourself plenty of transportation time. Get to the AKL early and check out the lobby/gift shop/ and animals.

I would take the bus to Disney/MGM Studios (closest park to Pop) get out and get on the AKL bus.

It's much quicker than going to DTD because of all the stops the bus makes before you get to AKL.

On the way back, you can do the reverse and take the bus back to The Studios and catch a bus to Pop from there, unless it's too late. Remember, the buses run an hour past the park closing time.

I think I will probably take Lisa's advice for the way there and then I was planning to hit DTD after anyway. I want to leave early enough to explore the AKL a bit as this will be my first visit there.
