Getting to Boatwright's for Breakfast Question

I don't know if I posted this on the right forum or not.

...Anyway, last year we stayed at POR without a car and relied on the bus transportation. One morning we ate at Boatwright's and had the BEST sweet potato cakes.

This year we will be staying at CSR, but we still want our sweet potato cakes! I know we can take a bus to the parks and then try to take a bus back to POR, but do they take people back to the resorts that early? I would hate to inconvenience a bus driver just because we want our pancakes. So here is the question....

Do any of you (who do not have a car) ever visit other resorts for breakfast? If so, how?

IMO, the best way to get from CSR to POR is by taxi. It will probably cost about $15 but you'll be there in about ten minutes.

I agree with you about the Sweet Potato Pancakes at Boatwright's, they are so good. We did this a few years ago also, we took a bus from the All Stars to the DD than a bus to POR. You can also take a boat from POR to DD, I think they start running at 9 or 10 in the morning once every half hour each way. We stayed at POR & POFQ the last two years and just loved the boat ride.

I was thinking something similar. Bus from CSR to DD but jump on one of the boats from DD to POR. I just would rather ride a boat than a bus anytime. Don't know how early breakfast is or how early those boats start running from DD to the hotel.

Yeah, I checked on Allearsnet.com and saw conflicting times of when the boat to DTD starts running. I figure, if I can't catch a boat then I can hopefully catch a bus.

I believe the buses will take you back to the resort at any time. I know we've gone to AK early and transfered to an AKL bus to get to BOMA. I do not think the boats run until about 11:00AM and in the morning they only run once an hour, so I'd say that's not your best option.
