Getting to AK for 8am EMH

What time would we want to leave BWI for an AK 8am opening? I'd like to get to AK by 7am. I'm not sure if we'd take Uber or the bus. About what time would we need to leave BWI for each option? TIA!

6:30 by bus. Be at the bus stop before that.

You've rightly chosen to arrive by 7. Oct and early Dec 2018 trip both had AK opening well before the stated opening/ EMH times (also DHS doing the same). At AK, I was usually getting off FOP at stated opening time & at DHS I rode both RNR & ToT before stated opening time. Each day, I heard people inquiring why the app showed a wait time for rides when the parks weren't even open yet? I would just smile and say 'because the park IS open.'. I'm sure not too many were happy to find out they did NOT make it to rope drop.
