Getting to AK early

I am trying to figure out how early to get to the bus stop for AK and be on the first or second bus. What time do the buses start running if AK opens at 9am. Or would it be better to drive?

We drove cause you can enter at 8:05. walk stright to FOP then at 845 we were at the back of the park with 5 min coaster rides

8:05AM - Turnstiles open. 8:15AM -

We drove also. It was so much faster and easier than getting in line for the busses early. Our timeline was exactly like the above poster.

Buses start about an hour before the parks open and generally I noticed people start lining up for the bus at the resort around an hour before the first bus.

Ok so it was reported today that they held cars until 8:26 before they would let them park while they watched buses unload. So now I don’t know what to do

Have you decided what you are doing?

We are staying at YC, and planning AK, Wed Dec 9th. I had planned bus, but didn't realize the line builds so early. (Aug we drove)
I know I have read buses get in before cars, but what time do we need to be at the bus stop waiting? Sounds but maybe it wont be so bad
