Getting There: Fwys and parking garages

I'm a little confused (not that that is hard to do ) about the freeways around Disneyland. By using Google Maps I have learned that our hotel is actually DIRECTLY across from the exit off the Santa Ana Hwy but...is that just what they call I-5 down there, cause from the map it looks to be one in the same?? If not, where can I expect to get onto Santa Ana from I-5?

Also, in regards to the parking garages...where exactly are those located? By walking around the area using the street function in google maps I see that not a block from our hotel there is a parking lot - on Disney Way. Can we catch a shuttle/tram from there? Cause WOW, that's far. If not, can someone tell me on which street the parking garage is located so I can look it up?

Ok sorry I'm missed your first question. The Santa Ana is the 105. The B exit is far to the right since it's a multilane exit.

But when you drive it you probably want 109A which exits a hundred yards further south, to Katella. The reason is this will let you make a right onto Clementine, because you can only make a right into the RI, Clemetine is divided. You may not see this on your map because they improved the road when they made Garden Walk.


Anyway to go to the parks, you could walk, though it's on the long side to do. To park you will also have to make a right out of RI. Then a left on Disney Way. Disney Way makes a T with Harbor. There will be a big construction road sign saying go left to Toy Story and maybe right to Mickey and Friends. FWIW it's faster to go to the Toy Story lot, unless it's a near capacity day you could go to either.

I much prefer the Toy Story Parking Lot than the Mickey and Friends. It is much more organized to take the buses than the madness of the trams.
