Getting there from WDW

Hello all, we are staying on property at WDW and we have planned a day at Universal we just are not sure about the best way to get there. We are not renting a car so would we cab it or try the Mears shuttle service? I did see something somewhere about Universal having a shuttle that will pick up at WDW but there really wasn't a lot of info about it.
Any info anyone can offer will be appreciated

We used Sunray Transportation and loved them. IIRC it was $60+tip for a roundtrip to UO. First class all the way.

I have spoken to Bob at Sunray about this, and transfers are only available to those who have also used Sunray for R/T transport from their resort to the airport. So, if the OP is using Magical Express, she is not eligible to use Sunray for transport b/w Disney & Universal.

If OP doesn't feel like using Mears, I would try Tiffany Town Car. http://www.tiffanytowncar.com

Huh. Don't remember that from December. We used them from the airport, and it was definitely worth the expense.

Also, FL Tours sponsors the Transportation board, but I don't know much about them.

Yes, it's their policy now and is actually added to their website:

*Service to the Attractions is provided only as a courtesy to those customers who use our service from the airport*

I asked Bob about it specifically, and he confirmed that if you don't use their service from the airport, they won't do attraction transfers.

you could probably rent a car for a day in the $30 range (swan/dolphin or car care center will pick up up @ resort) using corporate discount codes.
