getting started ????

Hello everyone,
I am new to the design board and after viewing those great shirts that have been posted....I really want to try. Just wondering what program is being used for the Disney clipart and designs. I am also a little confused about the dark/light transfer paper. I understand that dark is better, but why? Thanks so much for all of your help.

Hi there. Welcome to our corner of the world. If you go the main page in this forum you will see a Sticky thread called Design Tips. This has a lot of great links to the clipart and answers a lot of design questions. A lot of people here use PhotoImpact or Photoshop Elements. Hope this helps.
