Getting smaller bills

We are from Canada and our bank did not gave anything is US dollars smaller than $20. Is there a place on the ship that I can exchange the 20's for smaller bills like 1's and 5's for tipping?

You should be able to get change at guest services. You can also go cashless and just add additional tips to your checks.

You can go to guest services to change for smaller bills. I'm surprised your bank couldn't give you less than $20's. We are in BC, we bank with TD and I've never had a problem getting US 1's, 5's 10's and 20's.

We called to TD Bank. With notice they can get the smaller bills.

Weird. We never have an issue with them—it must be a branch-related thing. Last time, we got 5s, 1s, and 10s just at our local branch walking in on an afternoon. Good for the reminder, though. We're heading down in a couple of weeks, and I'm almost out of USD.

Same. And our branch is tiny and deep into the suburbs I've never had a problem getting any type of US bills from my branch
