Well, I was exactly 20 pounds lighter the first time I joined and I got some of the weight off and then I stopped going. :confused3 I don't know why. I guess I thought I could do it on my own.

So, I'm going in this morning for the 10am meeting 20 pounds heavier!
I need the structure that comes with Weight Watchers so I'm feeling encouraged that I'll stick with it this time. Obviously my way does not work so I'm going to do something different.

Wish me luck.

You can do it!

Congratulations for not giving up. It is not always easy, but it is so worth it to do your best at being a healthier you!

Keep on keepin' on.

Congratulations on taking the first step and joining and good luck on your weight loss. You can do it :cheer2: :cool1:
I've been doing weight watchers now since september and have has slow loss-26 lb total, but I'm planning to continue for the rest of my life. The first time I joined about 12 years ago, I weighed 46 pounds less than when I joined this time, so I can't afford not to stick with it.
Weight watchers works and is great because you can go anywhere and eat anywhere and still stay on program. Best of luck to you. You can do it!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Congratulations to you for making the decision to try again. One thing I have learned over the years is that this is a forever battle. I just joined WW again last night (my stats are in my siggie) and I am working my way back down. Best of luck to you on your journey.

I understand how you feel. Currently I am attending WW for the 3rd time!
My leader said that the 3rd time was the charm for her too! So I figure if the leader was a repeat member then there is nothing wrong with me being one too! It helps me to know that she is not thinking "Here she is again :sad2: " As another poster said, this is a lifelong battle for most of us. I have come to the realization that this will be something that I have to fight for the rest of my life :guilty: I wish that one day I could wake up and eat what I want and not gain weight, but I'm just not built that way! Good luck at your meeting and keep us posted! :goodvibes

Way to go fellow WW's! I've been a member since 2001. I made it to lifetime and then decided to have another baby and went back in 2004 and am now back at lifetime. It can be done. I found it harder the second time because I also became a Pampered Chef consultant and found myself eating at all of my shows. Since then I decided to convert most of my recipes into the fewest points I could and share them with my guests. So in celebration of you all here's one of my favorite breakfast recipes.

Create - A - Quiche

This recipe uses the Pampered Chef Small Oval Baker (stoneware). But I usally double it and bake it in the Stoneware Pie Dish (I'm guessing any pie dish would work).

Quiche Base:

3/4 Cup Egg Beaters
1/2 Cup Fat Free Half & Half
2 Tablespoons All Purpose Flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
Dash of Pepper

Filling:

1/2 Cup Chopped Ham (I use low fat deli ham)
1/2 Cup 2% Shredded Cheddar
2 Tablespoons finely chopped onion (optional)

Preheat oven 375 degrees. Spray pan with nonstick cooking spray. Whisk together Quiche Base and set aside.

Place Filling Ingredients into bottom of dish. Pour Quiche base over filling.

Bake 30-35 minutes until center is set. Allow to stand 5 min. before serving.

Serves 2 ~ Each serving is 5 pts. but they are huge servings. I usually eat half of a serving with some toast.

If you double the recipe for the a pie dish bake 45-50 minutes.

The great thing about this recipe is that you can replace the filling with almost anything. All the ideas do call for some cheese and I would not recommend trying fat free cheese. (It doesn't melt well). You could do all veggies or use bacon or low fat sausage. Make sure you adjust the points accordingly and enjoy!

I think I am ready to go back to WW too. The last time I joined a "friend" said to me- "I don't know why you are joining again, you can't do it" and then I turned around and proved her right.

I have joined a gym with my daughter and I think WW is the kick I need to get back in the swing of eating better. Good luck OP! I know how hard it is to get on the scale the first time and see what's happened since we last went! You CAN do this!!! :cheer2:

Thinking of joining WW online, since I don't have time to attend meetings. Tried it once about a year and a half ago, and lost 11 lbs. Hoping to lose 25 this time. :surfweb:
