That is one of my favorite quotes too, but as best I can figure it's not actually in the original books in that wording. I think somewhere along the line it became a reworded version of this dialogue between Pooh and Christopher Robin:

"Pooh, promise you won't forget about me, ever. Not even when I'm a hundred."
Pooh thought for a little.
"How old shall I be then?"
"Ninety-nine."
Pooh nodded.
"I promise," he said.


See why I get so many friendship quotes out of the Pooh books? Here's another:

We too say it whenever our nephew is playing dress up. Or when we see a character on TV with a cape. Or just for fun- to laugh.

Not sure yet - depends on whether I am working at home or in the office that day.

If I'm in the office the time will be tenative since I get pulled for things from my desk sometimes.

Ok ladies - get to thinking.....

Signups will be around 11 am edt on Friday - hopefully this is good timing for both our west coast and british friends! I expect to be home Friday so I will man the board for a bit after signups.

I'm going to put this in the signup list as well but please don't sign up for more than you can handle - both Susan (123SA) and I have just had very large swaps and I have many many late packages that have still not arrived after last Friday's due date. Life happens, I know that but it's important to be able to meet the deadlines. Due date is June 13 so it's almost a month and these are easy pieces to make.

I am also going to put very specific minimum requirements since they are fairly easy pieces. I am all for creativity in shape and size however, as long as the spirit is met on the requirments. (i.e. if your quote is oval and slightly smaller than the 'required' size to make it look right it's ok - what isn't ok is if it's not embellished or not enough layers or significantly smaller). If anyone has questions please PM me.
