Leaving in 17 days......arriving at the Sequoia Lodge (hopefully) at the hotel by 10 (landing at 7:30 and booked a private shuttle...does 10 o'clock seem right to you?)

I am going to ask at check in for:

1: Cost for upgrade to Montana room if one is not given (I have read they move standard room to Montana a lot during low season)

2: Cost/plan for internet service per day/hour? As far as I can tell there is no wired service only wireless and not in the rooms...correct?

3: Cost (if available) for a rollaway bed.....sorry if this sounds spoiled but the three of us full sized adults.....in 2 full size beds .... will mean two of us a night will not get decent sleep...I know my daughters. I hope they have this option.....

4: I think an 8 to 8:30 am breakfast slot is good for us....hoping for 8:30. We are checking in on a Tuesday...do you think this will be difficult to obtain?

5: I need to decide what is the one restaurant we will have our one sitdown in....leaning towards Innoventions? This is a character meal in the Disneyland Hotel? I would make this for 6:30 on a day the park closes at 6. Or maybe I should make this for the day we arrive as we are probably going to be exhausted....we could leave the park at 5 and have dinner at 5:30? I dont know if we will be able to get this on the same day as I am not calling overseas ahead for reservations....what do you think?

6: Do I need a reservation for the Agrabah buffet?

7: Mobilus....this can be purchased at the train station at Disney? Is it a manned station...all I have is american credit cards and my understanding is that they dont work in machines overseas?

Thats all I can think of for now....but I know there is more..... I seem to have a ton of miscellaneous questions rambling around in my head.

Thanks.

I think you buy a voucher for the internet from the hotel shop - at least this is how it was last yr - You can buy an hour or a few hrs (usually cheaper) and it doesnt all have to be used at once

Inventions only opens at 6 in the evening. I wouldnt do it on the first day as you may be very tired and not feel like eating much and its too expensive and too good food to waste and not enjoy fully. It is also a buffet meal not a table service

6: Do I need a reservation for the Agrabah buffet? You may get in without a reservation but its always best to book

7: Mobilus....this can be purchased at the train station at Disney? Is it a manned station...all I have is american credit cards and my understanding is that they dont work in machines overseas? Yes it is a manned station and the tickets can be bought at the booths

Hope this helps

I always make dining reservations when I get there - usually should go by and book at the town hall when I enter the park - very easy and I've always gotten the times I wanted. Happily it is not like WDW in this respect!:goodvibes

We will be there at the same time! We are also staying @ the sequoia. I feel so lost and have nothing planned :scared1:

That how I feel!!

Drats...not what I was hoping to hear :(. I probably should have booked the "value" hotel with the bunk beds......

I had seriously thought of buying a 'readybed' /inflatable mattress as the rooms are so warm and the extra covers on each bed would be fine for someone to use as their duvet!

Zinderella, since you have considered this yourself and I see you have stayed at the Sequoia....would you say a twin inflatable would fit? I do not mind rearranging table and chairs etc. and would put them back when we leave...

When three of us stayed in the SL during September, we pulled the bedside table out between the 2 beds & pushed the beds together making it so we all had a 1/3 of a bed rather then 2 sharing one & one person having the double to themselves. It worked really well, everyone had plenty of room. We just put it all back right in the mornings.

This is an interesting idea! You were all comfortable?? Wow....maybe this will work. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yes we had plenty of room. We just asked for more pillows & we managed no problem

The rooms in SL are pretty big, and if you push the beds up to each wall there is plenty of room for a double inflatable - no problem.

Thank you. I am probably going to bring the inflatable and ask for more pillows......it seems easier than pushing the beds together and taking apart every day? Worst case scenario and the inflatable doesnt work out....THIS is my "Plan B".

Thank you....on the Trip advisor forum I have people telling me that if the hotel manager finds out about the inflatable I will be suspected of going over room occupancy and that it may be against fire laws....and that there is not enough room..... I am going to believe YOU lol!!
