Getting our Date???

I also thinks it depends a lot on the day. December is also a busy time for DFTW, but we had no problem getting our date/time/and location. Our wedding is on a Thursday though, at noon. I think weekends are a lot harder to get. As are early evening.

And I just called to book next May 1 at Sea Breeze Pointe. I was hoping I wouldn't have trouble getting the day/location....now I'm a bit worried with all this talk of lottery...

I'm having an escape wedding, not a Wishes one...

Anyone out there already have this date/location?

Can I expect to hear back from a coordinator by Wednesday? I'm anxious to get it confirmed etc..

I will have MANY questions for you all, the photography/florist thing is already freaking me out....

I post on Passporter a bunch, but they don't have a specific wedding/honeymoon etc. forum...

Hopefully it will all work out. About the coordinator thing... you won't hear from a coordinator until you sign your contract. If you just called and told them the date and time you hoped for the person you talked to will then send that info to a sales individual. They are all very knowledgable and help tremendously, but they're just for contract signing and securing the date! You will hear from an actual wedding coordinator within two weeks of signing a contract!

We were thinking of having our wedding at Sea Breeze Point, and we asked one of the wedding consultants about it. She said it doesn't usually book up there as fast. I hope that's true!
