Getting in Line at Park Close?

I’m not sure if this has been answered anywhere. Are CMs allowing guests to get in line for attractions right before park close like normal, or has that process changed with the new COVID procedures?

In January they were. We go on MFSR right at closing time and same for Space Mountain. My experience in all our trips is the line is open until closing so if your are in line before you were good. Now I am sure but would expect that still is policy. Btw RoTR line would shut down when all boarding groups were done.

That has been our past experience before as well. I'm just curious if that has changed since all of these new requirements have been made. I'm curious if they are trying to clear the park faster and closing lines early or if they are allowing the park to close like normal.

I don't know about rides, but you can begin an ADR right before closing. We had a 5:50pm ADR at Tiffins the other day when AK closed at 6pm. We walked out through an empty park. No problem finding our car!

From one of the opening day videos, I saw that they went on a ride right at closing. But, unlike in the past when you would do this, you waited in line a long time, but for now the line waits are very short so it will not be like before when you're walking out 45+ minutes after the ride closed.

Line waits are not very short at Hollywood Studios or Epcot.

Just got back. Lined up for Pirates at 1 minute before park closing. Not a problem.

Not at closing time. The line times drop a lot after 5pm and around closing the lines have been very short at HS, walk on to 10 min. except for MMRR that was around 30.

After about 4pm at MK/AK every ride is pretty much walk.
