Getting from WL to Poly

I'm trying to figure out dining reservations and I'd really love to have breakfast at O'hana. My husband HATES the idea of trying to schedule a meal at another resort because of the headache involved in trying to get from one place to another.

So how big of a deal is it to get from WL to the Polynesian? How much time does it generally take?

From WL you can take the resort launch to CR take monorail to Polynesian. Allow about an hour

Or you can take boat to MK then boat to Poly. If they're running before your breakfast. But I'd probably do what the pp said and boat/monorail.

We find it easiest to take the boat to the CR and then monorail to the Poly.

How often do the CR boat launches run in comparison to the MK boats (especially during slower periods)?

I would think that whichever boat arrives sooner might be the better option with regard to timing, although perhaps not if the boats are never more than a few minutes apart/constantly alternate.

Really the best advice. When you think about how much you are spending on that character breakfast the cost of the cab is nominal! When going resort to resort for breakfast we take cabs - it makes life much less stressful!

Bell services will call you a cab when you get out front; there are usually some waiting there so there's virtually no wait.

I have no idea I the cost since I've never done this route. I would say I've averaged about $20 for most of my cab rides at WDW. There's an online fare calculator somewhere but I don't have the link.

This is good advice. It might be able to do it in 30 minutes or less, but allow for delays and waits

That sounds about right. We took a cab from WL to Poly but it was several years ago. Cost was $7.00. Take the cab. You'll be glad you did.

Thanks for posting this. We booked WL for a November stay and I want to do dinner at Kona one night. I hate the idea of blocking out an hour of time just to get there. Cab it is.

You guys are awesome. The hubs was totally on board after I told him about the taxi option. I scheduled the breakfast and can't wait
