If you are staying at a Disney resort are there Disney buses that pick you up or due you have to take a shuttle.

Hi Jason,
Sadly there are no free shuttles from the airport to the disney hotels. I have checked several options during my trips and just this year with the help of the boards found out that renting a towncar is about the cheapest way to go for a group of 3 or more.
How many are in your party? If you have 3 or more check out the Transporation thread on these boards. I found a great rate from Cartier Towncars that I will be using for myself and 2 kids on April 9th. There are several car services listed and several people will give you info on their experiences.
If you are going alone or just with one other person Mears Shuttles is probably the cheapest but you often times have to go in a large bus and drop people off at several hotels as well as your hotel. I used Mears last year and that was my experience. The service was fine however as I mentioned I discovered this year that I paid more for that option last year than door to door service with a lincoln towncar.
Good Luck and have a great trip! I will be there in 10 days!!!dznyfn1:smooth: :smooth: :smooth:

Take a towncar! It was so nice to have the car to ourselves and not have to share with a bus load of people. I too have booked with Cartier because of their reviews on this board and they have the cheapest rates.

We've done both but are a party of 3. I would probably just take Mears if I was alone. It wasn't that big of a deal and the stops that we made weren't bad at all. I think a towncar is the way to go if there are 3 of you or you have plenty of $.

We actually rented a car from National at the airport for $40.99. We did a one way and dropped it off at the Dolphin. For our return trip National sent a shuttle for DH and he picked up the car and we dropped it back off at the airport. We are a family of 4 and had 5 carry ons, 3 large suitcases, a cooler and a stroller in an intermediate size car. Our first car was a Chevy Malibu and our second was an Olds Allero. Very comfortable! We weren't cramped at all.
