I'm heading to WDW under the Free Dining Plan in September.

I'm looking at flying into Tampa to save airfare. Besides car rentals, does anyone know of a shuttle sevice to the resorts?

Truthfully, I havent heard of any "shuttle" service that does such runs. Im sure local limo companies could service you, but prices would be crazy. Your best option is to rent a vehicle and keep it through your stay, or do 2-one way rentals to get you to and from the airport. Try Alamo or National for you 1 way rentals, because they have locations on Disney property (Car Care Center, infront of the Magic Kingdom, and at the Dolphin resort near Epcot). BTW, Welcome to the Dis!!

In March I flew into Tampa to meet with DS at USF Tampa. We then went on to WDW. We rented a car. There wasn't a bus or train. TownCars were too $$.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking.

And thank you for welcoming me, although I've lurked for over a year, just never had the energy to post (is that a new definition of lazy? :) ).

There is a train (the Silver Star) from Tampa to Kissimmee or Orlando (also stops at Lakeland). I don't know if that helps very much, since you would still have to get from the Tampa airport to the railroad station, then from the Kissimmee or Orlando station to WDW.

But, the train does exist!
