I keep hearing people say that with alot of room locations at the Poly, you are better off walking to the TTC to get to MK and Epcot. How does this work for Early Morning Hours? Also, in general, how are the crowds for the monorail at the TTC? Is it just better to walk to the Monorail station for the Poly? Thanks! Jane

no, because lots of time they won't let you in. when I started to fuss they allowed me on the resort monrail and we went to Polyn :lmao:

so just go with Poly -MK monrail for EMH.

but hey go ask (the night before - monrail personnel) - sometimes they do start the express monrail then too.

If you're headed to the Magic Kingdom, it depends where you are staying at the Polynesian- the TTC is about the same distance from Rapa Nui and Tahiti to the GCH. The Express Monorail tends to be very busy in the mornings, but other than that it is usually a quick trip that will usually shave a few minutes off your journey (vs the resort monorail).

For Epcot, I'd recommend trekking over to the TTC no matter what building you're staying in. Since the resort monorail travels in the opposite direction of the TTC, you'll have to do just short of an entire circuit to get to the TTC- this takes an extra 20 minutes over the short walk.

Monorails start at 7:00 each morning unless it's an EMH day, where I believe monorails begin operating 30 minutes prior to park opening. Check with guest services at your Disney resort for exact times. Note that the express monorail may not be in operation for MK EMH.

True dat!

For AM EMH they don't start running the Express Monorail until 9:00 AM when they open the Magic Kingdom for the offsite guests. So the best thing is to take the Resort Monorail from the 2nd floor of the GCH, or the boat which also goes there.
