Getting from Poly for Luau to Pop after 8:30 show in Oct?

We are going to be at WDW the first week of Oct. and are hoping to get ressies for Luau show at 8:30. We are staying at the Pop and are not getting a car. How do I get back to the Pop at about 10:30? Do I have to go to DTD and then get a bus to the Pop? Does anyone know what a Taxi would cost to get back?

If Magic Kingdom is open late (either regular hours or Extra Magic Hours) simply take the monorail or boat to MK, then the Pop bus back to your hotel.

If any other park is open late that night, take the bus from the Polynesian to that park then the Pop bus...

If no park is open late, take a bus to Downtown Disney and switch there.

A taxi from Contemporary to Pop last year cost $19.75. Since we had to drive past the Polynesian, that fare would likely be a little cheaper (fare did not include tip)
