Can anyone recommend a good limo/town car company that can take us to the Disneyland Grand Californian Hotel from Lax? I have looked a Supershuttle but as there are 4 of us I'm wondering if it would cost less for a private transfer, does anyone know? :)

We are using Luken Limos for our transfer from LAX to the Grand Californian. A few other dissers have used them and recommended them which is why we choose them. It is costing us $90 which includes tax and tip.

Don't use Starz. They quoted us $90 including tip, but with tax it was $114, and the driver told us "The included tip is only 5%, the rest is up to your discretion." Plus they sent a car that was not as nice as the one we were told we'd get. Not very much ice, and the little that was in the ice wells had some paper debris in there from a previous trip. Ick.

I'd take a taxi, it's $40 flat rate.

Is a taxi really only $40? I thought it would be much more that's why I didn't consider it.

Just checked the Hyatt, Marriott and Hilton websites and they are all estimating the taxi fare at about $90-$95.

I e-mailed Luken Limos last night and just found an abrupt reply as it seems I missed off some of the info, I wonder if their drivers take the same tone :(.

I think the 90-95 is more accurate.

Mousesavers.com recommends getting quotes from limos.com for towncar service.

I don't think the flat rate from LAX to Anaheim is $40-45. Last I checked in May, I was quoted $90 each way by taxi.

I used to be a weekly business flyer, so I've had my share of towncar/limo experiences here in Los Angeles.....

I haven't used it since I moved here in 200, but there is a direct airport bus from LAX to the Disneyland Resort. It's operated by Gray Line Buses and I got this off their website: http://graylineanaheim.com/airport_info.cfm

The Disneyland ® Resort Express operates continuously throughout the day, 7 days a week. Reservations are not required. Schedules from Los Angeles International (LAX) and Orange County 's John Wayne Airport (SNA) are as follows

I don't know how much this will save you, but it's an airconditioned coach with huge Disney graphics on the side. Pretty exciting for kids when they see it pull up! Also, you aren't at the mercy of some of those crappy shuttle and towncar drivers in LA freeway traffic. Shuttle companies also carry more than just you and make frequent stops.

Hope this info helps!
Nancy

Ack, ignore me, I was thinking SNA or LGB for the $40 flat rate. Duh. Sorry about that.

Thanks Nancy that's really kind of you to go to all that trouble, I'll go and look them up :)

Avalon you got me excited for a minute there but then I realised what you'd done, no worries

Thanks for your post Rudy, I must have missed it before...sorry. That's really helpful too, I'll wave to you from the bus :thumbsup2

We stayed at Fairfield Inn on last trip. We walked by the Disneyland Express bus making different stops on Harbor several times. You can probably google it.

We use Super Shuttle from LAX to the Fairfield Inn and it's $28 per person round trip.
