Getting from International Drive to DTD

I'm in Orlando for a few days next week at a conference at the Orange County Convention Center. I am staying at a hotel off International Drive. I have a free evening and thought it would be great to get a Disney fix by going to DTD. I know it's about 10 miles from the International Drive area to DTD. What travel options can people suggest? I looked at getting a rental car for the trip and it seemed to be around $120. How much would a taxi be?

$120 for a 1-day car rental? Check again....there must be some mistake on that quote....unless you're renting a luxury vehicle and buying all the insurance/damage waiver options!

Depending on where on I-Drive your hotel is located, I would think $15-$30 each way for a taxi at most. The lower figure would be for hotels closest to the convention center.

$120 was for all three days getting the car at the airport. After I posted I checked some more rental companies and found a car for $78. I'm very tempted by it. Very close to the high end for the taxi ride. I'm at the Embassy Suites so I'm about a mile from the convention center.
