Getting FROM eletrical water pageant TO non-MK resort

I really want to see the Electrical Water Pageant, but am staying at POP. I know I can use DIsney transportation to get TO any of the resorts where you can see it, but will I be able to get back to my hotel afterwards using disney transportation? Thank you.

Thank you. I dont 'do' lyft/uber, so disney transportation is my option.

If you don't do Uber or Lyft I'd probably be concerned depending on when MK closes for the night, then. A 9PM close would make me nervous but is probably safe, I'm a worrier. Anything later you'd be fine.

I would second the recommendation to check the MK hours for the day you want to do this. Best case scenario is a that you can walk back to MK and get a bus to Pop from there.

Would you consider using a Minnie Van? I understand not feeling comfortable using Uber or Lyft, especially if traveling alone. However, Minnie Van drivers are Disney cast members and I have never felt unsafe in a Minnie Van. You do have to use the Lyft app to request a Minnie Van, but it’s a totally different experience than a regular Lyft. We used Minnie Vans a lot the past few years since we didn’t feel comfortable using buses during the pandemic and its aftermath.

You can also look at the schedule for the water pageant and see if the show time is earlier at GF or Poly, giving you more time to get back to Pop.

It all depends on what time of year you will be there. When the MK is open later the EWP even stops at the MK for a 10:35 PM show on the Seven Seas Lagoon. From the CR you can walk back to the MK Resort bus loop, buses run at least 1 hour after MK closes.

You also have the option of taking a resort bus from (CR, Poly, GF) to Disney Springs and then a resort bus back to your resort.

Route: Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness, Contemporary MK boat dock (when MK is open after 10 PM).

@sherlockmiles I posted the route. It always starts at the Polynesian between 8:40 - 9 PM. Check nightly schedule during your visit.

I'm there gnerally beginning of Oct and beginning of Dec.
I've also always had a hard time figuring out the start time and time at each hotel to try and plan things.

One can also see the POLY show from the MK boat are (WL,FT wilderness boat dock has fencing outside with a great view) and Bus area, while the boat dock at the poly offers the best view the view from MK is certainly acceptable and no need to worry about a multiple bus or monorail bus ride back to your resort. Also a decent view of the MK fireworks.

You can check in your MDE app. Just hit the Search Icon (second from the right) at the bottom of any main screen and enter Elec... and it will autocomplete.

For example today the EWP starts at 8:40 PM at the Polynesian.,

Walk to MK and then hop on a bus to your resort.

Well ....I made it poly by 830. Water parade showed on the app for 9:00....after watching the mk fireworks from the beach (bonus) no electrical parade....music played.... hummm....walked to boat to go to magic kingdom.........and lo and behold.......electric water parade at poly!!! Woo hoo.


Turns out first music was the show at GF.
