Getting from Disneyland to San Diego (without driving)

Planning our 1st trip to California for next summer. We'd like to spend a week at Disneyland, then a week in San Diego. I really don't want to rent a car for the drive. Is there any form of public transportation like a bus or train to get us from Anaheim to San Diego?

Amtrak station is in Anaheim and it's a pleasant trip to SD. Around 2 hours or less I think. I would travel this way again if I didn't want to drive.
