Hi everyone, this is Samantha (formerly GroovyWheeler). Dan (DH) and I are getting very excited about our upcoming trip to Disney World. We're leaving on the 14th!! Not too much longer to wait now. I'm a little nervous about bringing my wheelchair tray with my manual wheelchair for the first time, but it'll be worth it. My scoliosis-affected back will be much happier. Especially since we're going to be spending a lot of time at the parks. Even though it's pretty big for a wheelchair that's 18" wide at the seat width, it should be easy to store in the overhead bin on the plane. I won't have any carry on with me, so it'll work for me to carry it on.:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

If there is a closet on the plane, the tray might fit there easier than in the overhead bin.
Also, keep in mind that any pieces of equipment you need (like wheelchair pieces) don't count toward your carry on allowance. So, if you do need a carryon, you can still bring one.

Hope you have a great trip.
