Getting credit from Ebates for Disney gift cards

Do you get ebates credits when you buy disney gift cards from the disney store? I bought a $50 card, but did not any credits from ebates. It said you were to get 5% back, but I really did'nt know if that applied to gift cards.

Most rewards programs do not reward for gift card purchases unless they are bought from a gift card website. I don't think that Disneystore.com offers affiliates anything for gift card purchases so the affiliates cannot give you anything in return.

Ya, I kinda thought I may not get any credit with Ebates for them, but I also thought that I read where others did, so I really wasn't sure.

It doesn't look like gift cards are not listed in the exceptions for disneystore.com. After 30 days, submit a ticket saying you didn't get your cashback and see what they say.

I think the store has to be in the Gift Card category to qualify for a rebate:

Did your Gift Cards ship yet? I usually don't see credit until the item ships. Disney isn't on that list, but maybe there is hope!

YES! I have gotten e-bates credit for ordering gift cards from the Disney Store online. That said, I am still waiting for my last purchase to credit.

I get the Paypal deposit option, then when e-bates pays out, I go back to Disney store online and buy another gift card using my Paypal balance to pay for it.

How long has it been since you ordered them? I have had to wait up to a week or longer for Disney purchases to credit.
