Hello All,

We are going to Disney World Late November. We have a split stay book, and it's setup as follows:

Total guest is 5

1st stay - 3 nights at Grand Floridian, we purchased a Room of 3 nights and Park tickets all in one reservation. The Park tickets are for 6 days. (bought through Disney.com website)
Shows up on Disney site as:
Magical Holidays Room Offer MYW Pkg + Deluxe Dining

2nd stay - 2 nights at Four Seasons Walt Disney.

the hotel bookings are linked in MyDisney account along with all ParkHooper tickets showing.

Four Seasons is part of Walt Disney perks which allows for 60day FP bookings and Eearly magic houurs.

However, I was on phone with MyDisney Tech support and they mentioned that I would NOT be able to book past the 1st 3 nights since I have a packaged stay. I had asked and she said the 5,6 day park FPs wont' be able to be booked until DAY OF!. Not 60day, or 30day for that matter. She said it was due to the way Disney system sees the packaged stay at 1st.

I called Four Seasons, they double checked with their support team at Disney and they confirmed it shouldn't' be an issue. SO now I have 2 conflicting answers.

I read the FP FAQ on this forum and according to it I should be able to see the bookings for my FULL stay of both hotel stays.

Can anyone with experience with split stays provide some guidance on this? Our 5th day is Hollywood Studios and 6th day is Animal kingdom so the FPs are very important for Flight of Passage and Slinky dog dash.

ONE other note, when I goto MyDisney Experience app, I notice that my Park Hooper tickets show "Valid through Nov 26th" which is incorrect since my actual stay will end on the 28th. But my 1st hotel stay does end on the 26th. Should I be worried?

We did a three hotel stay in August with park tickets booked with the first and I was able to book all the day at one time.

So you purchased the tickets as part of the 1st hotel booking and it was a packaged stay? or did you buy Park tickets separate from hotel rooms?

The first resort was a packaged stay with room and tickets and two room only bookings.

Day of?! Yeah, no. This is just really bad info.

Yes, according to the FP FAQ, you should be able to make FP for your full stay, 60 days prior to your first. Worst case scenario, you would have a rolling 60 day window, but if both resorts are linked in MDE and both resorts have 60 day privileges, it should all open 60 days prior to your first stay.

The Split Stay section of the FP FAQ is correct and the CM you spoke to is incorrect.

You have to remember most CMs rarely have onsite stays let alone Split onsite stays, especially at Four Seasons, so they have no experience in how the FP booking window works.

I also was given incorrect info from a CM on the phone regarding booking my fastpasses for my split stay last Jan. I ignored her and used the info on the DIS FP thread. I was able to book them all at once. Both hotels in split stay were Disney hotels.

Hello All -

I wanted to give an update on my FastPass booking that went live on Monday.

THE CM was wrong. On Monday morning, I was able to book the Fastpasses for both stays, Package stay (GF) and the hotel only stay (Four Seasons). I did both at once.

So that is very good news.
