Howdy,

I've read tons of posts on how to get to Hoop Dee Doo, but my question is: Whats the best way to get back after the late show?

Here is the plan:

6 Adults ranging in age from 75, 54, 53, 22 and 19. No health mobility issues to consider.
We are staying at Caribbean Beach,
On Sunday 1/5 taking resort bus to AK, which is open 8a 6p, plan to stay until closing time. Gives us 2 hours to get to FW, so plenty of time.
From AK take bus to FW, which if im correct will drop off at front of resort.
Take internal bus to the settlement stop and walk to Pioneer Hall.
Attend show

Here's where I need some help, how do we get back to CBR? - Some points to consider:

1. Never seen the show, but google search says its 2 hours, so end time would be 1030pm...is that correct?

2. MK is showing it closes at 9pm. In theory, resort transportation from MK ends at 10pm (eliminates boat to MK than resort bus from MK to CBR.

3. Disney Springs closes at 11pm, resort transportation ends at midnight?

4. We will be tired I'm sure after spending day in AK. Unfortunately due to our plans Sunday is only day we can see the show.

Only options I see are

1. Internal bus back to front of FW. Bus to Disney Springs. Resort bus to CBR - Seems like a long tedious process at the end of a long day.

2. Internal bus back to front of FW. Uber to CBR, we have six adults, may need 2 ubers. - Thinking might be best option

3. Minnie Van from Pioneer Hall direct back to CBR. 6 adults, will need 2 - Pricey, maybe a wait due to crowds, Most convenient but not sure of actual price per minnie van

Any help/thoughts appreciated

Disney Springs is normally used as a hub for late night resort hopping. You would still be able to take the bus there and back to CBR after the show. But that would take a long time, so I would recommend option 2, the FW bus and Ubers.

It will depend if MK is still open when yo get out. We did the 8:30 show in 2019 and when we got out MK was closed so they had busses waiting at Pioneer Hall to bring people back to the resorts.

Interesting, your the first person I've seen mention/post that there were resort busses waiting at Pioneer Hall to bring people back to the resorts. I'm wondering if that's changed since 2019 when you went...

And yes MK closes at 9pm that day, so MK will be closed when we get done with show.

I wonder if I call/contact disney if they would know... and who would I call?...hmmm

Getting that level of detail from anyone on a call will likely be difficult - not making excuses but that's not Disney's strength, so many degrees of separation between so many departments and you can't really call anyone that would actually know directly. Kind of annoying, I know.

I thought I have read over the years of similar situations to what @The Mayor reported - that after that last show if MK closes early they go off script and have some shared buses to resorts available. But I can't vouch for if that's the case now, so many things changed post-COVID or just change in general over time, so I'm not sure.

Hopefully someone who has some more recent direct experience stops by.

Whatever happens, should be fun! Love HDDR!

Agreed, please do not call us at DRC with this question. That’s not our area of expertise. I don’t even think the Guest Services Call Center, who handles front desk calls, would have an answer to this question.

Yeah, and the chances of someone giving an answer with incorrect info seems pretty high with these types of nuanced WDW questions!

You may want to ask this on the Disney Restaurants forum to find any recent experiences.
