Getting around the Fort?

Looking at the map we are really staarting to get worried about our choice to stay in the Cabins for our upcoming trip. Looks like it is really far from the main pool, campfire and beach.... These are all reasons that we chose to stay there. We have a rental car, but heard you can only drive it up to your cabin. What roads can you drive the car on? What loops should we request? Looks like the cabin bus goes no where near the main pool and instead goes to the main buildings. Any help we can get would be appreciated.

They have a internal bus system that gets you around to everything.

If you are at your cabin, the Orange Settlement bus will go past the Meadows recreation area and you get off at Loop 900. The pool is just behind the Meadows trading post.

Even those with golf carts will have a short walk to the pool from the golf cart parking area.

We brought our bikes and rode our bikes everywhere. It looks huge, but it's a short bike ride to wherever you want to go.

If you're not able to ride bike, you can rent a golf cart or take the internal buses. It's totally doable.

It really does look alot bigger then what it really is. We also bring our bikes, but the internal buses will take you to wherever you need to go within The Fort. I wouldn't stress about it.
