Getting a picture from my phone to my computer

I have a picture that my son sent me through a message on my phone. I want to get that moved to my computer. I know I've done it before but can't remember how. Help.

Oh, it's a Droid phone.

I just plug my phone into my computer and something pops up giving me the option to upload the pictures.

Did your phone come with a cord to hook up to the computer, or software? You could do it that way or you could email it to yourself, that is what I always do.

Save It to your Droid first - I believe you either touch the photo or touch menu while looking at the photo. Then, when its saved, go to your gallery, touch the photo, and 'share' should pop up. You can either e-mail it or text message it to your e-mail address.

Doesn't give me the menu. I can only zoom on it. Maybe I'll see if I can get the picture another way...

Try touching the photo and holding your finger there for a couple of seconds. A menu should pop up. I just did it with the Richard Simmons photo in your sig, and was able to save it to my phone - I have the Droid Incredible - I was told by Verizon that they all operate pretty much the same way. Sorry if it doesn't end up working with my suggestions!

You're welcome. I found out pretty quickly that you can send photos off of the internet that way - I have a lot of fun with that feature.
