Getting a Crease Out Of a Poster?

While we were at WDW in June, we bought a rolled poster from that Art of Disney store or whatever it is called at DTD.

DH took it out to look at it the other day to look at, and I am getting ready to frame it, so we needed to measure it and take it out anyways.

It has an inch long crease DEAD CENTER on it from when DH took it out.

I can lay it out on our dining room table for how ever long it might take. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove the crease? :sad1:

I remember ironing wrinkled posters when I was a teenager. Use the iron on a low setting (but increase the heat if it does not do anything) and iron on the back of it. If the iron gets too hot, it will burn the paper.

If it's actually folded, then there really won't be a way to get rid of the fold line. If it's just sort of "bent", then you should be able to lay it flat out on a table or something for a while with books or something heavy on the corners. That should flatten it. Otherwise, an iron works on a low setting as the other posters have said. But you really do have to be careful not to burn it.
