does anyone kno if u arrive early and are waiting on your site, and u hv rented a golf cart from tee time, could u go get the cart and bring it back to the overflow lot where u parked your camper?

When you rent from Kenny, do you have to tow it to FW yourself or does he tow it in for you?

He told me his secretary would call couple days before to confirm and get a meet time, i figured we get there early, while waitn on our spot to b ready we could unhook TT and go get the cart, then just drive it in when we head to our spot. We'll b headn down may 7th.

I did this back in February, I arrived early and our site wasn't ready. I called Kenny and asked if I could move my pick up time. He double check and agreed to move it up. He'll work with you on it. I unhooked my 5er and left it in the overflow lot and met him off site. Drove his truck back to the overflow and unloaded the cart by our 5er, returned and picked my truck back up. just remember to bring your Magic band so you can get back in the gate at the fort. Also did this last February as we had to wait again for our site.

SouthAlabama5er is correct, we have done this each of our last two trips with no problem. The only exception, is that I didn't wait for the assigned site. I got a list of what was open when I arrived and picked a site from that list and went on to set up. In my mind, there are no bad sites. I might have a fix on a loop, but not on a site.

Like Randy said, you can drop your rig and go offsite to meet them, but make sure you advise Kelly when she calls you a few days out before your arrival.

OK, so if I understand correctly, I don't have to actually tow it in myself, I can just meet him off site and then go with him in his truck to drop it off at the Fort?

Towing it in means that I'd have to do it with my class C so the other way sounds much easier travel wise.

You have to be driving his vehicle, though, which happens with people in your situation. He can't drive it in even with you riding shot gun because then "he" is delivering at the Fort which is a no-no. But if "you" are driving his vehicle, it's fine.

They've worked with people in your situation and can explain the process.

Ed is correct on this. You will have to drive his truck and return it to him.

Will he be riding shotgun while you drive his truck? If so, could your spouse drive your personal truck back to the fort allowing kenny to drive back by himself in his truck?

No he will stay and wait where ever you meet him, you will drive his truck, by yourself to the fort, unloaded the cart and you will have to bring it back to him.

Any part of Kenny coming on-site in a delivery vehicle during the picking up or return of one of his rentals violates his agreement with Disney. Besides, Kenny himself does not do the delivery process he has someone who handles it for him. Typically there are multiple carts at the pick up location and he has to prevent them from being stolen as well as cleaning and servicing them. He usually does this cleaning and servicing while the customer is delivering and returning.

They do give the option of unhooking the trailer and letting you use your own truck if you like.

I rented with Kenny back in October and it was a piece of cake using his truck and trailer. Will def rent with him next time

When I rented from him in October the delivery guy insisted I just take his truck. He said it would take too long to unhook and re-hook afterwards. He had a Ford F250 and around a 10 foot trailer. Plan on an hour round trip but you might get done a little faster. Speaking of rentals has anyone tried the new company Dream Carts offering the same basic deal as Kenny ??

I'd love to just use their truck but you don't have to let them use your tow vehicle for that hour do you?

Just booked a 6 seater with Kenny (actually talked to him directly) for this summer. He seemed very nice and thanked me for doing business (said that that's saying a lot in our day and age).

No he is set up in the back parking lot of a restaurant. I just locked my truck and left it there. He uses the time to clean the carts or just sit and wait I guess.

Has anyone dealt with Dream Carts yet ?? I'm considering trying them in October. No real problem with Kenny he is a decent guy. It's just that his carts are a well used and could use updating. It's luck of the draw weather you get a newer or older one.
