Getaway today ticket question...

I don't remember whether they send you a voucher that you must exchange for tickets or send the actual tickets......can anyone advise???!!!!

It's a voucher, easy enough to exchange but can be time consuming if a lot of people are doing the same thing....

I used GetAwayToday.com last November. My initial plan was to buy eTickets from Disney's web-site (I like the eTicket option because you can take your "home print-out" directly to the turnstiles).

But each 4-day Park Hopper ticket at GAT was $10 cheaper than Disney's price, so for a $40 savings (4 tickets x $10) I figured that making one trip to a Ticket Booth was worth it.

Our first day in DL would be Wednesday night (Nov. 24), so on Tuesday, Nov. 23, I called GAT at 1-800-523-6116 and I paid for the tickets using my credit card. Within minutes GAT e-mailed me a receipt with an invoice number. I printed out the receipt and brought it with me.

On Wednesday night (the night before Thanksgiving) there was a very short line at the Ticket Booths. We went to a Ticket Booth, and I showed the CM my I.D. (driver's license). I don't know if it was required, but I also showed the CM my printed-out receipt from GAT. The CM printed out the Park Hopper tickets, and we were good to go.

I don't recall if I had to show the CM my credit card, so I recommend calling GAT to verify the details.
