runDisney has GET Travel and Marathon Tours and Travel listed as official US travel operators for the 2012 WDW marathon. Anyone used them?

I can't find reviews for either operator online and I noticed the GET site indicates that the account is suspended. :confused3

Hopefully the account suspended for Get Travel is a temporary technical glitch. Several of us used them for Tickets to Disneyland for next week. I know at least some of the people who had their tickets delivered have received their tickets.

I used them for tickets at Disneyland last year. The tickets were fine but I can't say the people were the nicest on the phone. They basically told me that they wouldn't help me and to use their website. Hopefully they are friendlier now!

I didn't call but I've sent several e-mails to them this year. They've always been prompt and helpful with their replies.

I booked through Get Travel for our upcoming trip to Disneyland for the half marathon. I spoke with someone on the phone at least twice and have received all the necessary paperwork. They seem like a class operation and I was well pleased with the customer service. I had numerous questions as a newcomer to Disneyland. Can't wait....I will be on an airplane on Friday!
Happy Running!
Pam

We used GET travel last year for the DL half. Excellent customer service, got everything we needed. No problems at all.

When I contacted them, they answered my question and then flat out told me to book it through their website. They were not overly sugary sweet kind of nice, but straight forward and concise.

I got my receipt in the mail on Friday along with instructions on where/how to pick up my DL ticket for the half marathon weekend. (I'm too cheap to pay to have them FedEx'ed to me.)

Hi all!

I'm running my first Disneyland Half Marathon next week and I planned on buying our Disneyland tickets on gettravel.com, but there website is down (as stated in a post earlier). I see a lot of you have spoken with them--does anyone have their phone number?

Thanks, and good luck on Sunday!

When I spoke with them, they said the last day to pre-order tickets was Monday the 15th. But in the info that I received on Friday, they will have discount tickets available at their booth at the expo.

"If you missed out on ordering your discounted theme park tickets in advance, they will be available for purchase at the Fitness Expo, at a slightly higher price than the pre-purchased tickets. Look for a booth with a sign above it, which says ON-SITE SALES Theme Park Tickets. Bring a valid photo ID and a credit card to purchase your tickets."

Thanks for your help! So would I have to buy a ticket to the fitness expo?

ETA: Nevermind... I see now that the fitness expo is also where we pick up our packets. I wont be there in time to pick up my packet, so my friend is picking it up for me. :)

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like the GET Travel site is back up so it must have been a glitch.
