Get rich by posting videos of opening Disney toys on YouTube?

My niece is obsessed with watching the surprise eggs videos. She's two. My sister said the surprise eggs will be available in the US in March with slightly larger toys. The choking hazard is the reason they are banned here. I don't get the obsession either. We lived in England for five years and my kids liked the Kinder Surprise Eggs, but it wasn't any sort of craze.

Wow, that woman's voice and the swingy camera were awful! I hope she doesn't talk like that in real life.

But I could see how it would be mesmerizing to a toddler.

I couldn't believe how LONG the videos are.

I think the speech patterns are an affectation, but that's her real accent. My kid watches another series where the family is almost excessively cheery. I think the almost bland delivery is intentional.

^^Yeah, when it comes to appealing to children she definitely knows what she's doing. Notice also how she will randomly include Anna or Elsa dolls in the shot while she is showcasing other unrelated toys/eggs. ;)

About the popularity of Kinder Surprise...I think they're such a craze here because WE DONT HAVE THEM. Kids in other countries probably don't think that much about it because they've always been readily available to them. Forbidden fruit and all that.

I frankly miss real Cracker Jack toys. Now they're afraid of lawsuits and only include paper items like stickers or collectors' cards.

Ugh, tell me about it. I recently bought a box (actually a bag) of Cracker Jack for the first time in a long time, and the "prize" was just a stupid piece of cardboard with some baseball team logo printed on it.

I want my Breakfast at Tiffany's moment where I can take my Cracker Jack ring to Tiffany & Co. and have it engraved. :D

My 4-year-old loves Disney Collector. There are several YouTubers like her, and he would sit and watch them open "surprise eggs" for hours if we let him.

I don't get it. :confused3

Just thinking about this, and did a search for any discussion on the subject. The channel is now gone, although replaced with another one with different content. Rumor is that content had been demonetized when it contained content featuring copyrighted/trademarked products and/or it was about kid's toys. A lot of the old content had been either made private or deleted, and now it's under a new channel name (Art Collector). It's really weird because it shows over 10 million subscribers but all the vids there now have maybe 1000 views if they're lucky.
