I know its foolish to be planning a Vow Renewal in Florida in August, but it means so much to us to have our VR on our actual 25th Anniversary, that the date just isn't negotiable. I'm definitely going to contact the S&D Wedding Planner before our holiday this November to ask her to show us the indoor options for the ceremony though.

I'm glad you like the idea of the Kitchen Sink, I love the idea of us all sharing one big dessert, as we are one big family Well most of the time anyway

The personalised boxes have arrived now and are even better in person than they looked in the picture

Hope all your plans are coming together, as it isn't long now till your own VR

The planning is going well. I am about 90% done with just under a month to go before we leave. Yesterday was the one month mark.

Hi Corinna,

You were right about the box being the first of many purchases lol. I've now bought a pair of decorated hair combs (my 23rd Anniversary present to myself lol) and a double ring box for our son to carry our rings in as part of his Best Man duties (I don't trust him to just carry the rings!!).

Hopefully I can work out the picture thingie again and the pictures are below!!! Fingers crossed...

I think I want my hair half up/half down with these combs holding the sides back. They are from my new love Etsy

I think the treasure chest style will appeal to our son, and I'm hoping I can manage to change the "flower" crystals into "Mickey" crystals

I've had a few more ideas that I'll post over the next day or so, but its coming to the end of the school Summer Holidays, so I'm busy sorting everything out for that!

And woohoo for being almost done

A lot of my purchases came from Ebay. I bought lots of stuff from Etsy for the holiday, but not much for the vow renewal itself. My excuse is that the vow would have cost significantly more if I had not resorted to Ebay and I would not have got so many wonderful and unique things.

I agree that without Etsy and Ebay I'd spend EVEN more Mr Messy has said that he will be a traditional groom and all he wants to do is turn up, I can plan whatever makes me and the children happy His only request is that I don't go crazy with the spending (he knows me SO well ) so I'm trying my best to stick to that for him.

I decided that I loved the "treasure box" style of this ring box, and the fact that I can, hopefully, add a hidden Mickey to it, so bought this instead of one similar to yours that can be personalised. I've got a few ideas of where I can put a wedding logo though And I can't wait to see what you come up with, you are SO talented

This sounds all too familiar. Graham always tells me to just let him know where and when to turn up. This suits me fine as a rule as this gives me completely free reign. He did choose his own outfit and I managed to get some input out of him regarding dinner on the evening of the vow renewal. Other than that, it was just up to me to sort everything out. Still, this will make it all the more magical for me.

Gertie sweetie - I hope it will look alright on an aisle runner but I am certain it will work for a guest book. I had to change the resolution of Corinna's logo, so let me know if that needs doing (although I am sure your clever hubby could do it better than me).

To be honest I don't "need" an aisle runner or a Guest Book for our 5 guests but I do NEED to use the gorgeous logo that Joanne designed for me I'm going to scrapbook the Guest Book - starting with a "Then and Now" page for pictures of our Wedding and space for pictures of our VR Then I want to do a double spread for each of the guests, with room for a picture of them in their VR outfits and space for them to write something/draw a picture And I'll use the rest of the pages to scrapbook other pictures from the VR and the holiday itself It will be like an informal VR Album
