Georgetown, Grand Cayman and Jamaica

Any advice if I didn't want to pay for a port adventure in Georgetown and Jamaica? Whats close by? Any good beaches?

In Grand Cayman, it would be very easy to catch a cab to 7 mile Beach. Jamaica is more problematic, because where the port is is not really a beach area. However, the secure port in Falmouth is nice for shopping, and they do have a big Margaritaville with a nice pool.
